Hello all,

I am new here but I have been visiting the site for a while now.
My wife & I have decided to buy a 2006 GT Vert after renting a V6
vert from Hertz for a week. It was a really fun week with the top
down and we hated giving it back in the end. Just wished we could
have had the GT (no-rentals Liability Issues).

Anyway, we were just wondering if anyone knew of a dealer here
in the Central Fla area that is willing to sell for less than MSRP?
Also, is there a listing for which dealers that work with X-plan
pricing if you have a pin or do you just have to go in and ask
at each dealership?

Any help at all is much appreciated & I'm so glad we found this site!
It's a super nice place with a lot of excellent info!

Thanks, Tony

Hi,
I haven't been here long myself, but find this site great for information. I'm not sure about honoring the X-plan, or where exactly in Central Florida you are, but will recommend a dealer and person who I have nothing but good thing to say for a dealer. Coggin Deland Ford in Deland/Orange City Florida gave me $1300 off on my V6 back in March and two weeks ago had a 2005 Black GT for around $27,500.If you go that route ask for Kevin and see what he can do for you.

From: Central Fla
I looked all around last year looking for a dealer to buy mine on Xplan. I found Greenway Ford off 417 and Highway 50 , they let me order my 05 on xplan. Courtesy Ford off I-4 wouldnt budge off MSRP +. I got mine loaded for 26k, basicly 2k off MSRP. After My order Deland Ford called and told me they would have done the same thing for me. I was surprised becasue they are smaller and I didnt even think about checking them. But go ther eanyway.

352 376-5371 Russell (sales) or Mr. Thompson (sales mngr). X-plan is honored or 3% over invoice (at least two TMS members have gotten that deal).

Wow,

So much help in so little time. It's nice to know that people on this
forum are so willing to help out a fellow member. Thanks to all for the
great tips.

Forgot to mention it. We are just north of Orlando, FL
My brother works for Exxon/Mobil so hopefully he can get
me the Xplan pin soon. If not then I'm on my own I guess.

Roger, I might take you up on that offer. I did talk to a salesperson
at Greenway a few months ago (phone call), but he only offered MSRP
at the time. Maybe it's who you know? Nice website BTW!
I'll PM you for the club info and maybe even the help with Greenway
if your up for it. We're going out of town for a few days (starting
tonight) so it won't be until next week that I can do any of this.

Runfox, you are so right about Courtesy Ford. They wouldn't even listen
to any offer from us. We haven't tried Deland Ford yet (thanks Tom for
the tip on them too). 2 votes for them make me want to at least drive
up there and see what they can do.

George, Thanks for the tip. If all else fails, it's sounds like a good deal.
The only thing that I would dread, is the long drive up there. So we will
see how it pans out closer to Orlando first.

Have a great weekend everyone and Thanks so much again!

Courtesy Ford is nothing but hineyholes. IF I hadnt already ordered from Mullinax I would deff. go to Gary Yeomans in Daytona.
PS - they are also mod friendly.

edit - hineyholes???? wtf? hineyholes??? @ $ $ h o l e s !

Tropical Ford in south Orlando on South Orange Blossom Trail has about 3 new GT's Sitting on the lot, plus a couple of traded in GTs with very low mileage. Check out the showroom as they have a used white GT with blue Lemans stripes. They are a big Ford performance dealer!
