B.N. On April 20, lightning struck my house and started a fire in the basement.
G.N. No one was hurt, and nothing really irreplaceable was lost.
B.N. I'm stuck living in a hotel with a dinosaur of a computer and mediocre internet service.

B.N. I may not get my house back until the end of June!
G.N. I was told today that my Mustang WILL be an '05 afterall, and that I could expect it sometime in June! Yayyyy! Sonic Blue, not Vista (whatever that is)!!!

Question: My salesman said he wasn't given a build date or a VIN#. He said the owner just told him to tell me the first or second week of June. This is May 2. Isn't that a little optomistic to hope for delivery in 4-6 weeks when we don't even have a build date? Maybe the owner knows and just hasn't informed the salesman? Sound bogus to anyone? :scratch:

Thanks, everyone. The contractor has already started working on my house, and everyone I talk to says I've got the best Insurance Adjustor and Fire Restoration Specialist in the area. That makes me feel better. I don't think the dealer is just "yanking my chain". I had him as excited about the Pony Drive as I was, and he was so shocked at Ford's withdrawal from all Pony Drive participation that he offered me an extra X-plan PIN number that he had and ordered me a GT on the spot! Everyone else in the area was asking a markup, and he gave me an X-plan that I didn't even qualify for! (Of course he also told me that I'd get my car in May.) All in all, I can't complain. I'm thinking Steeda cowl hood, white LeMans stripes, ducktail, and Halibrands. Sound allright?

 

Mine was serialized 3/3 and delivered 4/15 - it could happen.
