Recently talked to a dealer and had him build an 05 on his system, the order came back that the V6 standard transmission and IUP are on back order....Has anyone heard this before? I have talked to other dealers and no one has ever mentioned back order....I'm just a little confused....

Both are on hold...whether you want them both or not....So it's really gonna take that long to make V6 standards? I have waited soo long for this car!! Now i have to wait even longer!! What is the reason for the backorder? High demand?

REASON FOR THE V6 MANUAL DELAY (this will be added to the FAQ)

The manual transmissions were delayed on purpose, because getting all the equipment/components in the plant to have the car all launched at once would delay Job 1. So they decided to put off the V6 manuals initially so that the Job 1 would go on time and then they could add V6 manuals once production ramps up.

There are no quality issues with the T5 in the V6 to my knowledge.

My V6 Premium, IUP, Manual order was accepted at the factory yesterday per my sales guy. The IUP had held it up for a week and I specifically asked him about the availability on the manual tranny but he said it went through. Time will tell. I don't expect it till Jan at the earliest anyway.

Hopefully the IUP issue is solved quickly as my patience is growing thin. Ordered in May and I see tons of people getting cars already :bang: I even heard some have been shipped to Canada already
