i wonder if you could sleep side ways with the seat down? ....might be handy if needed in a pinch on a long road trip...anyone know lenght from rear of trunk to edge of front of back seat when folded?

 

I noticed this when i saw the 05 for the first time on friday. The opening is about 1/3 smaller than the 03 GT I have. I sometimes store my surfboard inside my car when i am going in somewhere for a while. The new car doesn't have enough of an opening for me to store my board. And since i don't want to put racks on a new mustang, I am a little bummed....wait...the convertible should have plenty of room.
