Howdy-

I have a question for all of you guys/gals with experience with baby seats in your mustangs. Does anyone have experience with convertible car seats in their mustangs?

The reason I am asking is because I originally bought a convertible car seat for my 05 mustang because it is not our primary family car. When I went to get the seat installed, the firemen told me the seat wouldn't fit and that I should get an infant seat with a base. So being a good dad, I went back and exchanged the seat for one that fits. So now I need a convertible car seat that can fit in reverse on the passenger side because she is less than 1 year old but is over 20lbs. Is there anyone out there that has had the same problem? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated...

I have one of those forward facing 5 point harness seats for my 32 lb 2-1/4 year old niece. Your fireman was blowing smoke up your chimney, your kid doesn't need a rear facing seat.

A car seat in the back isn't an issue until they're big enough to start kicking the back of the seat.

 

I have one: Pass side It fits with latch or seatbelt. just have too move the pass seat up some and no recline at all.
