would you say the noise from the slots bothers you with the windows up or just down?

The sounds from the slots is really only noticeable with the windows down. It cooled off here last night and you can't hear them at all with the windows up. It sounds like compressed air being released if you can imagine what that sounds like. And after driving it for a while I am impressed with how much the stopping distance is shortened. It doesn't seem like before you really had to get on the pedal to get those ponies to slow down. Now it is much more responsive with much less pressure.

Alright, here are the much anticipated pictures of my sweet new gratanelli rotors and Hawk HPS brake pads...And don't give me any crap about the wheels, I know they are filthy and I know that is sac-religious but, well....alright. I have no excuses...

Hey Andy, great pics!! Thanks for posting them!! I do have a question. In the 1st pic on the far left, it looks like the rotor hat is silver, is that correct? The pics of these rotors on Jegs site, and on others, the rotor hat looked to be black, as it was coated with the entire rotor . Can you help me on that?

The rotors are indeed black. These pics were taken with a digital camera and the color didn't come out quite right. Maybe it was the lighting, I'm not sure. But they do indeed look black on the car.
