Well that's cool.

It's also neat how Ford Motor Company produces 4 out of the 9 cars listed in Autoweek's America's Best Award list.

People need to vote for the stang. Right now the vette is beating it in their online pole for what you'd be seen in around town.

I don't really get why losing groud to the American icon sports car is a terrible thing. Especially one that comes standard with 400hp and will keep up with most exotics. Don't get me wrong, I love my Mustang, but the Vette is a heck of a performer. (and it looks a lot better than it has in the past 20+ years)

As much as I love my new Mustang GT and despise GM, I have to admit - the new 'vette looks great! I've seen a few around DC, and they look a heck of a lot better then they have in the last twenty years!

Now, if GM has improved their general reliability in that timeframe, I can't say, but all I know is that every GM vehicle I've owned in the last (oh my God) 25 years has been doo-doo, in terms of reliability.

I actually (yes, I'm ashamed to admit) had a '74 Datsun 240Z that was a blast, but that was my only dalliance with the Rice Side, and only after a '74 Blazer, a '74 Trans Am (that was great when it ran!) and a '66 Bonneville, which I bought from a bud for $50 when the T/A crapped out.

But if I got a knock on the head, I might consider the new Corvette........

call me ignorant, but "Americas Best" IMHO should be of American cars. Honda isnt america, neither is porchse or mazda.

Good for the Mustang, it won the category it should have! I love my Mustang, but TBO, I would rather be cruising around town in a Vette! I know that the Mustang turns more heads, but it can't keep up with the Vette in a race.
