I had seen earlier that while there was only a 17% IUP's being made, there was only 7% for automatics. Does that mean getting the automatic is even more of a delay???

Only delays I'm aware of on transmissions are the manuals in V6's...

IUP and automatic trannies have nothing to do with each other.

GhostTX you stated -They have nothing to do with each other , you missed his point. He stated there are delays caused by IUP as we all know, now in this weeks build projection they are limiting the auto trany to 7%, Why? Is this due to parts shortage? Or just trying to catch up on stick orders with 6 & 8 cylinder cars?

V6 manual production started 11/29.

edit: And I would guess that they reason they limited it is to get more manuals (both v6 and GT) out. They probably have more coming in and there is no reason to have a surplus of them.

Thanks upstate and Grantsdale, When I called my dealer he said there a "problem" with Automatics. I'm assuming there is no problem but this is what he meant (low production) which makes sense. Thanks

Are you serious about the V6 manuals actually starting to be made? Was Job 2 for real? I'm beginning to hope. Unfortunately my dealer couldn't find his way out of a paper bag let alone get my VIN, DORA, etc.
I have to wait for the "call".

Please tell me you're not joking.....

I'll hold in my excitement till then

Where did you get that info?

I have never seen any allocation %s for manual or auto trannies.

The original IUP alocation was 40% and has since been raised to 60%.
