I like the autolock feature that some cars have. Is there a way to set this up if I have a manual transmission or is it only for automatics?

I remember we tried this on the 05's and it would not work w/ the manual tranny.

 

I wonder why Ford didn't implement it using the vehicle speed input. For example, if the vehicle travels faster than 5 MPH, engage the door locks once. This would have allowed the auto and manual Mustangs to all have auto lock.

 

I agree. It isn't a big deal to hit the lock button, but it is a nice feature to have that the car locks on its own after a certain speed.

 

its only on the automatics.. for some weird reason.. I would have liked it too on the manual trans car..
