I've seen in the manual that the door locks will lock automatically on automatic tranny mustangs but not on manual trannies.....any way to change this. Would be nice to be driving off and have the door locks automatically lock instead of trying to remember alll the time.

Well, I'd have to assume that if the manual states that then it is likely true. I don't have my pony yet so I can't confirm or deny it.

Check page 63 of the instruction manual, there is a section
on Deactivating/activating the autolock feature. I don't know
if it will only work on an automatic or not, but couldn't hurt
to try.

Previous discussions here indicate that this is a feature of automatics only.

I've pondered this thought too, because my other automobile has this feature and unlocks when you place it into park. It's a very safe and convinient feature.
