Was driving home tonight from shopping with the wife in her Escape, and looked down at the shifter (auto trans) and lo it struck me that it might make a decent looking shifter for the Stang. (I'd take picture of the thing but my camera is DOA)However, the question is would the shifter from an Escape even fit on the Stang...probably going to take a Jedi-Ford guy to give a definitive anwser on this one.

It will not fit. Two different transmissions and linkages.
