Well, after much debate I went with the manual. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes me to get used to it after 6 years of automatics...

I hadn't driven a stick for about that long when I went for a test drive of a mustang GT. I knew I'd get a stick, if anything, so that's what the test had to be in. I was nervous at first, but really after the first start it was like I'd always been driving one. Oh, and even the first start was smooth, thank goodness, as killing it right in front of the salesman would not have been cool :notnice: .

Oh, and I agree with your choice of the manual. I don't think you'll regret it.
