Applying New Emblem

Hey Guys,

I have to replace my left side emblem on my mustang. During the down time of waiting for a new one to arrive, I waxed my car. My question is, should I do something to the spot where I am going to apply the emblem so it adheres the to the car the best? Since I waxed the car, and the area where it would go, will it not stay on well since I will be trying to stick it a waxed/clean area?

Thanks for your time.

Just use a little rubbing alcohol to clean the area of wax...you should feel your finger drag a little, as you rub it across the area after the alcohol...which means you've taken all the wax off.
