AOL Sexiest Cars of 2006

I was disappointed and dismayed to find no Mustang on AOLs listing of sexiest cars of 2006. I was also SHOCKED to find a darn Honda Element on there along with Caddy Escalade, Lexus RX330 and a Rolls Royce Phantom.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see ANYTHING sexy about an Element, and Escalade or ANY SUV for that matter. The Rolls, well, it's expensive, but sexy?

Just very confused by their selections. Forbes is involed with it too.

I guess if you are into baking lots of bread or delivering milk, the Element is right up your alley.

Ah, Forbes.... that explains it! There was a topic around last year with a Mustang review from Forbes, written by a seriously technically challenged car editor, who totally bashed the S197. At least I see they're consistent in their opinion.
Speaking of SUVs, my favorite is the Volvo XC90, I think it's the best looking SUV out there, yet I still don't see it as sexy. The RR Phantom looks amazing, but again, it's just too big to be sexy.

The element is like the new Scion (not sure of spelling) I look at it as the new hippie beetle wagon of the Y2K folks. I feel so in touch with nature. The escalade is for the "posers" and not sure how the others fell into the mix.

I'm not sure which list you saw, but AOL earlier did this list, which did contain the Mustang, along with some other nice cars.

Anyone remember that Saturn commercial where everyone is driving cardboard boxes, except the one Saturn?..... I've always thought that that was a Honda Element commercial that happened to have a Saturn for the main character.

Forbes review a real car? Not likely. Of course there is one thing their articles are good for . . .

That's funny Iused to drive an xc90 and it was really slow and took a long time to cool down. After I got my stang the car went to my brother as a good safe first car.
