who ever you use make sure its an enclosed trailer and get a delivery date. Make them stick to the delivery date or they should return some of your cash. Make sure you get the delivery date in writing. Most cases the truck will not go from point a to point b and may get side tracked to go get another car some where. I am sure they won't be able to give you an exact delivery date but a 3 day window most likely.

I used these guys to transport a car and had a very good experience: http://www.carmoves.com/

On time, no issues and good price too.

yeah, do make sure it's covered transport; it'll be a little more expensive, but worth it.

Last July I transported my wife's Lincoln LS on a Uhaul car carrier behind one of their 14' trucks about 700 miles. I'll just say this, when it came time for me to move my car and the rest of our stuff, I used a Pod for the stuff and just drove mine. It was the worst experience hauling that car myself. It took so much concentration just to keep it straight. I'm also convinced that all the vibration that the car was subjected to caused a few problems with it when it was finally driven.

Had one car transported but that was a long time ago. Just a thought but you might want to check the companies who do the cars from the Barrett-Jackson auctions

I used http://www.intercitylines.com/ to move my Road Runner from PA to TX and they are awesome. They treated my car like a million dollar ride and I would use them again in a NY second.

Just drive the Stang yourself.

Make a mini-trip of it.

I drove form NY to Vegas and back up to NY then Canada.
about 7000 miles...best time i ever had.

I'm actually debating in my mind If I should just drive from San Francisco to Texas or have it transporter recently I'm starting to lean towards driving it.
