Just got back from college park ford and darcar ford here in greenbelt. Nothing yet, although they did have a hybrid escape with a market adjustment of 2995.00..... They also had a 500. I am really startin 2 dig that 500, thats the second one I've sat in and it sweet.

Cavalier Ford in Portsmouth, VA says "any day now". They've been pushing a radio station remote event for Saturday afternoon really hard.
hmmmm.
Kevin, would a dealership have reliable enough delivery information that they might plan an event like that to coincide with the Mustang delivery? Since the group took over the location a couple of months ago, they may just be highlighting their added location, but. . .
Whatdya think?

Hey Nichole, have you actually seen it on their lot or are you going by the search dealer inventory?

Yes, tough game for those skins. I was suprised at the markup on the hybrid though. I knew they were generating interest but the guy at darcars said that markup may go up even higher. Said people were lining up to get them.

Maybe they get the stock ones first so that they can have something to show people, because I am sure I speak for a lot, that when the car comes in, no one will have time to sit in it or look at it, b/c I will be driving it off the lot!
It better not be on Saturday!!!! I was hoping to have this car for a weekend trip.

It's odd to look at the sticker for that thing and see that the city MPG was higher 33 than that of the highway 29mpg. And dang, that battery is huge.

Is it just me or does it seem as if Ford shipped the "stock" cars before they shipped cars that were "retail" regardless of when the car was ordered?

I agree - and that doesn't make me happy. My GT was the first order placed by this dealer yet their other 2 allocations are built and in transit - mine has not even been scheduled.
This is the thanks I get for being a repeat Ford buyer? This Mustang will be my 8th new Ford car. Makes me want to forget about buying any Ford products.

Its luck of the draw sometimes. If something like IUP's or red leather get low on stock, they just move on and build other models. It seems like they also force-built tons of V6's-we never even ordered the 4 that we are getting this friday(all with out leather or IUP's, go figure).

FYI Cental Marylanders. There is a Sonic Blue V6 with IUP and white sport stripe at Apple Ford in Laurel. Someone I know drove in looking for a Expidition and saw it in the show room and checked it out. He likes everything except the vanity mirrors in the visor. Said the look and felt cheap for a car with IUP.

Man that place ripped me. I was going to get a 99 special edition GT, but the morons sold it before I got there...I went to the other one, Crystal Ford.
What's with all these V6's...

Sheehy Ford in Gaithersburg MD has a MG (I think) V6. My friend who works there called me about 2 hours ago, he also said they're getting a loaded Windveil Blue GT shortly. He said he drove the V6 around town and on the highway for a little bit, said it was pretty quick (surprised how strong it felt) and rode very nice. I can't wait to see the GT.
