I was very interested in those wheels...the description says "Halibrand 18" wheels with BF Goodrich G Force TA Radials, 255/45/ZR18"....but to my knowledge the real Halibrands don't come in 18". Have to do some more searching...they must be some kind of knock off...

Yeah I was going to say the same thing! I've been waiting to hear if Cobra III's were going to available for the 05.

I have to admit though, seeing them without a deep dish may make me change my mind. Don't know if I like em as much now

There are no real Halibrand 18" wheels just AC III 18" wheels.

I believe that to be not true. In about two month I'm ordering the Cobra III deep dish in 18 in from my local speed shop. Halibrand does make 18 in wheels but they don't advertise them. I'm getting them for $190 a piece. Just thought you guys would like to know that because this wheel is going to look awesome on the mustang.

The stripes should be white, silver, or Mineral Grey and it needs the CDC ducktail, but that's pretty sweet.

What are the performance upgrades, or did they just slap Shelby badges on it and call it a day?

Flowmaster exhaust seems to be the only performance upgrade.

That's unheard of, Halibrands for $190 a pop.... I'm guessing they're aluminum, then. I was shoppin' for Halibrands a few years ago to fit some on a '68, and I remember they were a couple grand PER WHEEL!.... but they were magnesium knock-off wheels.... not knock off as in fake, but knock the spinner cap to get them of the hub..... racing wheels. I was never able to find them in aluminum. Good find, brutha.

You should find out where they're getting them from or post the shop's phone number. I'm sure there's a lot of us who'd like that info.
Let us know what they say.

Yes I believe they are aluminum. My local speed shop I believe gets them from www.discounttire.com. If you go on there website they don't advertise the 18" Halibrands you may have to call them. I think the offset on the wheels is a little different but it should still fit. I believe they retail for about $240 a wheel but my buddy is giving me a deal on them. I would think that any speed shop or wheel and tire place can get them. You may have to make a phone call but they should be able to get them if they usually get Halibrands.

Looks like the deep dish come with a +22 offset on the 9.5's and a +27 on the 10.5's. Little too far off IMO. However, the standard Halibrand's in 18x9.5 come with a +34 offset. That just might be close enough, even for me.

Nice rims, a bit pricey though.
