Thumbs up

The part number on it is 4R33-6322621-ACW and it's some sort of small panel about 3"x2" in size. Any ideas where it might have come from? I looked around under the dash and the console area but couldn't find any holes missing their covers.

Just a guess, did you look on the lower right passanger panel near the floor?

fuse box cover
As I said, I looked all over the interior of the car and couldn't find anything 'missing'. Isn't the fuse box in the engine compartment or is there two... perhaps I need to contort myself further up under the dashboard, hard since the car is in winter storage and crammed into my one-car garage.

Maybe Kevin will look up the part number for me and find out it's a minivan part that some Friday afternoon worker at Ford tossed under my seat as a joke.

Too small to be the access panel.

I think thats the access panel cover for the Mr. Fusion, which is needed for proper Flux Capacitor operation.

It looks like the insert cover for your door handle... Look behind the handle and see if if it looks like it's missing it's cover... If it is missing, you'll see the torx screw slot where you can take out the handle...

Iceknyght got it. It's the panel behind the door handle.

Mystery solved! Weird thing is, my cover is still there meaning that the part I found was a spare... gotta love American assembly line workers! I suppose it could've been worse had he left his tuna sandwich under my seat instead of the bonus part.

Hey Rich. See if you and Dave have the same build date... Maybe it's yours!
