Anyone from Oregon?

Anyone here from Oregon?

There is no club in my area, and I'd like to meet some fellow 'stang enthusiasts from around here.

I live near Eugene, Oregon.

Anyone else?

Fellow Oregonian! I'm here in Hillsboro, not exactly close to Eugene-Go Ducks!
Next time you're in Hillsboro let me know, we can get together and compare rides.

Hello all Oregonians out there, I'm in seaside. I would definitely be interested if some kind of club were ever organized.

Sawyer, How much sales tax did you pay for your pony? Sweet ride.

Entil- Seaside is probably closer to Portland, where the mustang wranglers club is.

I traded my 04 F-150 in so I only paid the tax on the 6k difference. It was 8.1% I believe.

I can't quite see you guys from my front porch window, but I'm within driving distance here in the wide open spaces of Eastern Washington. The sunny side of the state. Kids here actually tan, not rust

What I do see from my window is the Columbia Cup hydro races each summer. A few boats still have piston engines, but all the winners are jet powered.

The Pacific Northwest Mustang Club puts on some nice events. They usually have a show each Spring at the Columbia Crest (Chateau Ste. Michelle) winery in Patterson, just across the river from Oregon. Their web address is: http://www.pnwmc.org/

NWGT: I grew up(?) in Sunnyside. Have family in Richland, been to the hydro races a few times as a teenager. Have family in Yakima, too. My grandmother lived right across the road from Ste. Michelle, Isn't that Prosser?

Small world.

Thanks for the replies everybody. Nice to meet you.

My wife and I have visited the Oregon coast many times during the summer and it is one of our favorite places.

I lived in Rouge River (down south) for about 5 years. The only thing to do in that town was drink (and boy did i). That was about 15 years ago, i think that's why i stopped drinking about 14 years ago.

You're welcome to come down here anytime. I will probably go up to Vancouver for an event this year, but it's 2.5 hours to get there, so to go up for just a cruise is a little too much for me.
