Has anyone had any luck with finding a license plate bracket for the GT. Unfortunately TX requires a front plate and I don't want to scare my baby with holes in the bumper??

Has anyone tried removing the front bumper cover and trying to mount the plate so that is shows through the lower grill?
You'd most likely still be in compliance with the law and not have to drill holes through your bumper.

Here is a picture from a former post that I saved in case I have to put my front plate on. I live in California where it is required by law BUT I not going to put it on unless I have to.

I picked up my car October 22, 2004. Living in Illinois, in addition to the crappy cold, rainy, snowy weather we have endured since I got my car, has a disadvantage of requiring a front plate. Here is what I did:
I bought a license plate frame, clear cover, and a roll of self-adhesive, white rubber insulation that you put around windows to seal out the cold air on a house. I put the white rubber insulation around the edge of the plate frame, put the plate on, put the clear cover over the plate, and mounted the plate to the front bumper. The rubber insulation keeps the plate frame and the plate from touching the bumper, so no scratches.

Is putting it in your windshield a legal workaround? I would like to do that but I’m not sure if it’s allowed.

I am also very interested in this, is there a frame like this? And if so where can I buy it?
