I'm hibernating this afternoon. It hit 108 degrees today! Too hot to be outside. I'm glad we ordered "Performance White" for days like this.

 

Checked ERL Friday and said as of July 19, the car was shipped via convoy carrier! My nanners are putting on their boogey shoes.

 

ERL says my car has been produced as of July 21. Hoping to move to shipped any time now...

 

I called Ford Corp customer service this past Weds with the serial #. They confirmed, my sonic blue GT was built and scanned passed final inspection at 12:00 PM on Tues July 19th. Ford cs rep said scheduled delivery to my dealer is July 28th. Options include IUP, 17" wheels, wheel-lock kit, security system. Sonic blue w/dark charcoal premium GT. Can't wait!!

Called the dealer today to verify what the lady told me Friday. He says the car has an ETA of 8/1. Maybe sooner. This may be our last week of waiting!

ERL still says mine is produced as of July 21. Got a call in to my dealer for their version of the status and my VIN so I can check up on it myself if needed. How about everyone else from the July 18 week.

 

called FCS---it has been built but awaiting final inspection, as of this AM---i am only 45 minutes from Flat Rock so I hope they'd hurry the F' up!

 

Called first thing this morning and my status was changed to shipped as of July 23. It's going to be a long week!

 

i am jacked----mine is in pre-Delivery and my contact took 30+ pictures of my ride in various stages of production! how cool is that! less then a week til delivery---what a long ride!

 

Patience, Nice. Will make a great scrapbook. Soooooo close but yet so far.

Called for customer number yesterday, said that she's scheduled to arrive at the dealership August 5th (which coincidently is my birthday...looks like someone up there likes me!) Mine was built the 21st, and I'm in Dearborn, just a couple hours away from Flat Rock...I REALLY hope it comes sooner, I wanna show the nanners!

 

exactly...while some may have gotten a glimpse of their 05' being built, I do not think too many have the photographic story---i am very fortunate---

 

Just talked with my sales manager, car looks like it may be here Friday but no promises. He then immediately tried to buy it from me. Pretty funny, especially when he realized he had no chance AT ALL!
