yes...today was my day....hoping to take delivery this weekend as mt dealer is 35 minutes from AAI-----giddy up!

 

We have been hoping that they are very happy workers after their much deserved vacation.

 

mine was gettin built today to

 

i do not think it should take 4 weeks for delivery---although, not sure where you reside---as i stated--i am 35 minutes from the plant however, not sure if transports were backed up prior to the break---

Congrats, hope everything went well with the builds. Any change on ERL? I'm headed out camping tomorrow am and will be off the net until late sat. I see some serious mustang source withdrawal headed my way. Headed for a mini vacation and they are building my car the same day. Life is good.

 

yea did anyones gettin built this week erl message change yet? mine didnt mine still says the dumb as of july 19th ur car has been scheduled for build week of july 18th lol its been sayin that even before july 19th i think the erl has gone crazy.

 

yes as of july 23 i am scheduled for the week of the 18th...fyi, just heard from my salesman delivery for mine is scheduled for the week of July 30, and I am in Michigan---may be somewhat longer for you out of states--as i suspected, probably backed up on delivery due to shutdown---these next two weeks are going to kill me

 

Yesterday the ERL says "as of July 23 your order is locked into production"
Today ERL says " as of July 23 your unit is scheduled to be built the week of July 18"

The dealer said it will be built today or tomorrow and be in Omaha in 30 days.

30 DAYS wow i feel for you thats a crazy amount of time if u ask me

i just received confirmation today (through my internal resources) that my girl was actually born July 18----that being said, my dealer said expect it the week of July 31, with him fairly inaccurate(to put it mildly) I am going to cross my fingers and hope for this Saturday or early next week---- ---i will give myself the first nanner as i am over 6 months in wait for this peice of machinery---i hope to get some sort of a deal out of FORD---maybe a % off an extended warranty or something---i have to have been one of the longest waits in 05' history from order to delivery

 

i waited 7+ months and ford gave me nothing, doubt the will give you something as well.

 

Mine was built today- does anyone know when the erl will change the message??? I wanna know when my baby's gunna be delivered!! I'm in Dearborn, Michigan by the way...hoping that short drive from flat rock will get her here a little earlier, but at this point, I have no clue when it's coming

 

I have a build week of July 25, 2005. This 2 week break is making me nervous. What do yall think?

 

well, update #3---mine has to be scheduled for "body" still--my contact mentioned something about getting me access to the plant when they drop the engine in -- if she cannot get me in, she stated she would get me some pictures---

as far as the delivery, i have heard once complete its 3-5 dyas for delivery in michigan depending on carrier availability--so even though your build week is july 18 from build to delivery 14-30 days is an accurate statement---

 

Just got back from a week of vacation and called since I knew we had a build-week of July 18th. They now say "as of July 20th" our car was shipped via "convoy carrier". I'm guessing we'll get it sometime in the 2nd week of August. Cool...
