Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but...

Has anyone in the Chicagoland area put in orders for an 05(or bought a Ford recently)? I'm trying to narrow down the dealers I've got on mind. Willowbrook Ford, Joe Madden Ford, and Village Ford. Has anyone had experience with these dealers?

Also, anyone interested in doing a mass order thing? We could call up the Fleet Manager at the dealer and say" we want x amount of cars, bow down to our demands or we'll walk..."

 

hello, iam about 70 miles west of chicgao. The dealer in my town said they dont order cars with out a price list. They will call me when they get it. Just the way they do it. I have gotten 2 other cars from them in the last 3 1/2 years. So i do have some trust in them.

 

Stangman, if you're comfortable waiting until August, more power to you, the rest of us will make due without.

Manley Motors "Worlds Second Oldest Ford Dealer" in Belvidere 12 miles east of Rockford. From the sounds of the other form no one will get one before nov , dec. Been waiting almost 3 years now.

 

I'm in the NW Suburbs but I'm not taking delivery till August 06'. Let me know how the dealers you've decided on worked out.

 

Not too far from O'Hare Intern. Airport. I have a longtime family friend who is a salesman for Highland Park Ford, he has done right by us for quite a few purchases. Good financing, full rebates and including veterans and college grad discounts, when applicable for us.
I've spoken with him and he said when he gets the 05 I'll be on the short list for test driving one. He's betting on seeing them in late Sep, early Oct.
