I'm wondering what kind of prices people are getting by going through the auto purchase program at Costco. I'm not a member, but maybe it's worth joining if the price is right.

I purchased through the auto club purchase program which I understand is a similar program. www.aaa.com. The dealers here were marking the cars over retail and my price was $499 over factory invoice. If you are going to order, these programs can usually save you a bunch of money.

I'm looking for a chili cheese big screen tv with nacho salsa picture in picture, and marinated tri-tip roast....

This is an interesting idea. I'm a Costco member and I'll have to check it out.

Buddy of mine about bought a 350Z through Costco. He was gonna get 3.9% for 60 months. On purchase day, the dealer wanted him to finance through Nissan, so they counter offered at 3.0%...so he took that. The way he talked though, he had no trouble setting up the Costco.

I have a membership to Sam's, and they do auto loans as well. I figure I'll add them to the prospective lenders when I go looking.
