Any pics of Shelby Redline Rims on Car?

I did look through 50 pages in the rim thread, but no pics of these rims on a car. I'd really like to see a side shot. I'm really hestitate to pull the trigger on a $800 purchase without seeing it first.

This is the closet pic I could find, but I'd really like to see the rears also. My car is grey, so I'm thinking the gunmetal rims would work.

Any thoughts / pics?

Thx

This is the only one I could find in my collection of various wheels I have before I can decide what wheel to go to.

Thanks for the help. I'm changing my mind, don't really like the look for my plain jane car.
Seems like these rims look better on the modded cars, while not so good with the factory body lines, does that make sense?

I also found this:

What other wheels might you be considering?

Not really sure, just got a wild hair when I saw the Redlines on ebay. I'll probably wait and look for a set of the factory 18" grey painted bullets. I have the factory 17"s on it now.

I know you have used ebay to find your other Redlines, but I could only find 20" Razors on ebay. I would NEVER recommend 20" wheels for our Mustangs. Here is a link to American Muscle, GET site. Sure you will find other goodies you'll want from there too.

Picture is chrome - just what I could find quickly, the gunmetal color is what I would recommend.

Mind if I ask why not?

I went from stock 17" Bullitts to 20" Shelby Razors. Barely any difference in the ride quality and the handling and steering were sharpened nicely

No reason to offend, I just don't like the huge wheels and tiny tire/rubber. Just a preference for our muscle car mustangs.

No problem, retro-pony. I was just interested to see if it was more than the cosmetics you didn't like. I know some people don't like the harsher ride on 20s and low profiles, but it's not something I've experieced.

That's the great thing about Mustangs though, there's a look for everyone

PM sent,

I have mixed feelings on rims larger than 18". Some look better than others, my main hang-up is the visual of the rotors. I don't like to see a smallish rotor behind a large wheel.

You should see this truck running around here, rims have got to be 30" (is there such a thing?). And these are major bling, not monster truck rims. With the large wheel openings, the brakes look like dots. I know this is the extreme, but not a look I like.

Ooops, sorry... I guess you can't see the rotors.

Hey Katfish,

With your "Stock" appearance and the stripes, I agree that Bullitts look good. I have been on a wheel hunt since 2007 and still can't decide.

You looking to keep a retro theme? You want something clean that stands out? I have a whole aresenal of saved images. If I know what you want I can make a suggestion.

Thx Shaun,

I think you came pretty close ("something clean that stands out"). Problem is I don't really know exactly what I'm looking for. I like the Razors, but not so sure about all the bolts around the perimeter.

I guess my check list would be something like this:

1) Painted, no chrome (I'm low maintance, not a lot of cleaning)
2) Relatively small openings (Don't like the smallish rotor view)
3) Something clean that stands out (here's where we get subjective)

I guess it's sorta like what they say about art, "I'll know when I see it"
From what I've seen so far, I think a cross between the Razor (5 spoke) and Redline (10 spoke) would be close.

Hypercoated GT4? Something similar to this. I know there are about 10 types of wheels like this. FR500s, etc. I'm sure someone can post up pics on their car.
