Any aftermarket grills available yet? I haven't seen any, just wondering if you guys have.

I'd love to see a foglight kit for the V6, which I guess would just be a regular GT grill. A corral for the pony would look neat, too.

I got a GT grill from Ford Saturday for my V6 along with the two fog lights but sorry to say it don't fit.The grill was 90.00 and the foglights were 90.00 EACH.I was excited but I think Ford made the difference in the grills on purpose so we couldn't swap them out.

I knew someone would eventually be daring enough !! I figured it was a "coin toss" whether the grills would swap or not since the surrounding bumber covers are also different.

So as asked above ... what makes it not fit ??

To answer the question why it won't fit. I believe the bumper retainers are located in different spots. It could probably be 'rigged'. But I haven't seen it done.

Will someone make a replica of the honeycomb/plastic GT grill in chrome?

Thoughts on how this would look?

It'd probably look good with a set of chrome wheels, or something else to pull it together. I wouldn't put it on a Torch Red w/ Bullitts, I doubt it'll be made anyway. No info, just gut feeling.

I looked at both grilles (GT and V-6) at the local Ford Dealership, and it looks to me like the GT grille is just a little bit taller (less than a 1/2"). Count the 'honeycombs' from top to bottom from over and under the pony emblem. Just by sighting it, I figured that it wouldn't fit......
