I have a few questions on the factory anti-theft system vs. the various aftermarket systems. Bascially, which system works the best? Which system is integrated into the car the best (I would HOPE the factory system is!)? I have not had any dealings with aftermarket alarms in a LONG time, so I have no idea what they are capable of these days nor how well they integrate into the rest of the cars electronics for things like remote start, rolling windows down, 2-way alarm, etc.
So, ideas? Experiences? Helpful hints and tips?

I reecommend LOJACK. It is an aftermarket company and combines an alarm plus a tracking device. They offer a money back guarantee if your vehicle is not recovered during the first 24 hours of it being reported stolen. The system can even contact you if someone is moving your vehicle without your permission. Check their website for more info. When my Mustang arrives that'll be the system I'll be using.

The factory alarm is very well integrated. (I dont even know where the motion sensor is) The biggest advantage to an aftermarket system would be that you could get a 2 way pager alarm.(which are really cool)
The other advantage to a factory alarm is that if someone takes your vin, prints up false ownership, takes it to a ford dealer, and gets a new set of keys, they wont be able to steal the car.
