I'm looking at 06's (I wanted an 05, but didn't have the money or the color I wanted) again, so I have a question about X-plan. My father's company qualifies for x-plan and I found a dealer that will sell at x-plan. Can he purchase the car, and I buy it from him the next day? Or are dealers willing to help in a situation like this? Any word of advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Also, there was a link a while back that listed every company on x-plan. Anyone have it?

You shouldn't have a problem. X-plan is available to all family members. My wife has access to x-plan through her job so I'm using it to get my '06 ordered. Sorry, I don't have the link to the eligable x-plan companies, but could at least get part of your question answered!

I got into an arguement in my early days on mustang forums about this. I quoted the Xplan Rules, and he gave what is really happening.

Ill lay it out some. dad would hafta be on the title, cosigner is fine. Would need to wait 6 months to sell to get his name from title.

now in reality what seems to be happening.
Anyone can use a PIN...............

No. X-plan purchases must be kept for 6 months minimum. Doesn't mean he couldn't keep it in his name for that time then sell it to you later.

Doesn't hurt to ask the dealer.
