Ok so I have to same problems all of you have with my shaker 500.. I'll get it fixed one of these days but I was driving the other day.... stoped at a gas station... got back in the car and started it.....

Now when I turned the car off at first the radio was on and working fine....
So at any rate I turned the car on and the radio it seemed was off...?

So I looked at the display and it said that it was on...
So I turned up the radio and all I could hear was a low bass...
It sounded like it was coming from another car on the road...
so I turned it up even more...
Sure enough it was mine.

Bottom line I turned off the shaker and then turned it back on and it was fine...??

Anyone else have this problem?

If you press and hold the 3 and 6 buttons together it will go through a system check....one of the things that it does is just play the woofer, which is what it sounds like it was doing. Try this and see if it's the same sound. I know that's no solution, but you'll at least know what it was.

That happened to me once, on day 2 or 3. Turned it off and then back on and hasn't happened since.

Yeah, I went into the Ford dealership and told them the problems I had. They've already ordered me another one (Shaker 500) and will call me when it comes in to install it!

I'm curious how long you've had you're car. I know the Shaker sound systems had a few glitches in the beginning and I wonder if Ford has resolved the issues. I've got one order and I'm second-guessing if I should have gone aftermarket with the sound system.

It has happened to me twice since December when i purchased mine. All i do is turn the car off and back on and it seems to reset the radio and fix the problem. Maybe i should get a new shaker system but ill see if it keeps happening first
