As long as God (not a reglious person here) allows me, I will burn the tires and slam the gears. If my friends want to grow old (and they are) and behave like old folgees, that is their problem now isn't it. Have fun your only here for a short time.

Think of it in a medical sense. The more active you are at an older age, the better in shape you are. People who are not able to do activities in old age statistcally die before active elders. Also, peole who live happier lives (not depressed all the time) tend to do better as well. So if someone say's mid-life crisis, tell them no I am sustaining and seizing life.

Well Im 42, Have owned Mustangs all my life. I have had every generation of mustang. But I still get the same thing..."Mid Life Crisis...M.L.C"...I tell them their partly right...M.L.C = "Mustang Life Cycle" As long as I have a Mustang Im enjoying life, and life is far too short Not to enjoy every minute of it !!! So call it what you want, but I love it !!!

P.S...I did notice though that most of the people saying it to me either didn't have any car or drove a 81 Toyota Corolla with 4 different tires on it !!! Hmmmmm.....go figure

I am one happy (can't wipe the grin off my face as I slam through the gears) and active guy. Hopefully this equates to longevity!

I still grin like a 3 year old in a candy store everytime I walk out of the store and see Ellie. My hubby says I have a problem.
I adore mine- and I love the attention I get.

My grandfather was 63 when I was born. He's now 86. I was forever coming home from school & he had bought another car either to drive, to chop for parts, or to fix & sell. He has had no less than 5 mustangs in my 23 years. He bought me & my brother ours that we had. I came home from school in the 4th grade & there sat a car (a 67 Mustang I found out later) I found him in his shop & asked him who's it was. He told me it was mine.

A 4th grader & I had a Mustang. Of course when I actually got ol enough to drive it he decided it wasn't safe enough for a 16 year old & sold it & I got a 96.

My Uncle is currently 65 & owns a 82, 89 vert, 94 GT vert, & a 93 Limited Edt Davey Allison Thinderbird. And just last year sold his 2 fully restored 73 Mach I's.

So for anyone who says it's a Mid Life Crsis just ask them if they're jealous.

I don't have kids & am not married but I have already stated I am NOT driving a minivan. If my kids can't fit in the backsteat then there is always the trunk or the husbands SUV. Because I seriously never want to own anything other than a 2 door sports car. Preferrably a Mustang.

Most of those nay sayers have already stopped. That is why they act like old people. I keep asking for more, not that I'm winning that battle though (LOL), but thats still no reason to give up on asking.
