Aluminum Trim Panel across Dash, who hates it?

Skorch52 is correct. I just searched on the web and found there was an aluminum dash insert available in '67 on deluxe models. I stand corrected. The aluminum does complete the retro-package.
Still, not to my taste. Again, you be happy with your selection and I will be with mine.

I guess I am the minority. The pictures don't look too good, but MAYBE in person will it will look better.

I have to say I like it! I'm just worried about keeping it cleaned!!! From owning many polished alum. wheels over the years...I have to say to keep them clean bites! Hopefully it has a clear coat on it so it would be easy to spray and wipe. Otherwise if it is real aluminum, time to break out the polish.

Considering the design of this dash I like it. It's the entire dash that I'm not the biggest fan of (yet). I loooooove the SN95 dash design. It may be poor quality materials, rattle and squeek, but I love it to death B)

pedals = negative from what we've seen...No alum. pedals this go.
However it doesn't mean in the future we won't see them.
Man..I cringe, as I know what a pain they were to add after the fact on my car
As for the dash...don't forget its ribbed as well...and not a solid aluminum strip. blinding won't be an issue.

you lose oil pressure and engine voltage, those become dummy lights

The Aluminum dash is a must. High tech+ retro look. Just watch how any auto mfgs will copy it! Its about time that the interiors had a little tasteful glitz, they have been bland for too long. Now if only they would add colors, so darn tired of gray and beige. Lets get out of the ugly 90's style mode. Looks like Ford wants to. Go Ford!!
