I think it is too bright, shiny, will glare in our eyes, and is just a current fad and has no place in the Mustang.

I think you are among the few
Personally I think it looks fantastic and looks better than having a dash smothered in plastic or (shudder) fake woodgrain.
If you don't want it you can always opt out of the IUP, but you lose 2 gauges and MyColor....
the piece shouldn't be that hard to take off after the fact

While I haven't seen it person, I think it looks great in photos. It's nice a change from the expanses of black (or colored) plastic you see on most cars in this price range.

There were millions and millions of people killed, as I recall.

It looks great, IMHO. A nice, luxurious, nostalgic reminder of America's muscle-car heyday.

I do not like the aluminum trim panel. Also, the interior dashboard greatly resembles a 1967-1968 one(at least the instrumentation layout does). Seems unusual to place this piece on the dashboard when the prototype, which Ford went to such extent to duplicate, did not have one.
I remember the 1970-1981 Trans Ams had an machine turned faux aluminum dash but it was recessed and only in the instrumentation section, not sweeping across to the passenger side door.
I believe it is an option which can be deleted. Will decide when the car arrives in my area for test drives.
Purely owner choice. You be happy with your selection and I will be with mine.

I like it too. As stated, for those who don't like it, don't pay the extra cost for the upgrade.
I was concerned about reflections, so I am glad to hear people say it does not reflect.

I like it. It is retro for the complete look of the new mustang. I thought it was brushed somewhat , so the position of it and the glare would not be an issue. Definitely completes the whole package of the car. ![Big Grin](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
