April, I still don't get it. She went into the turning lane and then wanted to go back into the straight lane? I just don't see where she was never in the turning lane? Maybe it's my meds.

changed her mind and swerved back into the road-and frigging stopped
I locked my brakes, and missed hitting her by inches.
Wench!
There's still skidmarks from where I laid em.

Love the Windstar, Mustang is a great second family car, but if you could only have one car it would have to be a Mini Van. Don't you agree?

Sorry, April. I didn't mean to be a topic highjacker, too!
I know what you mean. I was almost run off the road driving my GT home from the dealer by (I hate to say it) a carload of girls talking and not paying attention to the traffic.

...Whatever happened to driving to get away from the phones and other noise making crap in our lives. Ok, except for maybe a good song on the radio with the windows down at 80mph!...

Sorry you had a scare, April. All of us have had that happen at one point or another. I like the way you "communicated" her #1 status!
I think minivans and SUVs are okay if you need them, but I've always preferred cars. I think they're more agile than trucks and for the most part, more fuel-efficient. However, in all fairness to that industry, I have enjoyed taking long drives in SUVs and minivans. You can't beat the comfort and visibility. Unfortunately, as a car nut, you've got to deal with limited visibility BECAUSE of minivans and SUVs. Ever try to back out of a parking space while you're flanked by these oversized beasts? 'Aint fun!
Kudos to you for having good reflexes. Glad you lived to tell the tale!

I feel your pain April....last week had almost exact same thing...from 2 moron's in a "Rooms to go" delivery truck.....Swerved all the way from passing lane to right turn lane in heavy traffic without looking. about 4 of us locked it up to keep from hitting those guys.

Sorry about that, man...I was just a little cheesed off about the seven posts you made on the SAB thread I started...but I'm over it now.
Responsible adult? Yeah right...that's what I've been telling my parole officer for years!
