Seems like AllFordMustangs.com is using a members, Rampants, work, hopefully this was with permission. They call it their "exclusive Stripe Painter." http://www.allfordmustangs.com/artman/publ..._index_41.shtml

Regardless, glad to see some of the talented members of this site getting their work noticed.

I sure hope Mike gave them permission to use this. Surely they didn't just rip it off.

I've seen it on at least two other sites apart from the original link in the thread here where he said he was tired of all the chop requests.

They say on the site it's "their exclusive".

The original post that Rampant made with the stripe painter was a link to the stripe painter on Spectrum Marketing Communications website. That company is mentioned on this site.

Well, when did it show up here? That post was on Nov 17th, almost 2 months ago.

More than likely they do have permission, they're not just simply linking that flash file they have a copy on their server.

Flash files are longer just one click away from a download like they used to be, it's not impossible to do, but seeing how that site is laid out under the covers.....I doubt they know how.

Well, they have my pics with the SEMA Boy Racer with me in them without my persmission, or 3Ds permission, or Beach Auto. Both 3D and Beach Auto gave me permisssion to post those pics on this site ONLY.

I have already emailed the webmaster about this, but its annoying for sure.

That's exactly why I thought I'd post it. I'm aware that some other sites have been using chops (I remember someone using Burningman's) and not having permission or even giving credit.

If they have permission then great, but with the amount of work that the talented members of this site put into their creations should not be wasted when others steal it.

It ridiculously easy to do. I have the flash file sitting on my drive, took me all of a minute to find it and download it. There's not much to know.

That's just business .. Tons of retail websites out there say "it's our exclusive product" even though it isn't .. Like I said, it's just business (reality)..
