All Ford Weekend Carlisle, Pa June 1-3
All Ford Weekend Carlisle, Pa June 1-3
I'm trying to get an idea of the interest level in doing a TMS cruise to the All Ford Weekend in Carlisle, Pa this year. The event is June 1-3 and of particular interest (at least to me! lol) is that they will be having a Mach 1 reunion for all years of Mustang Mach 1's.
If anyone is interested, I'll start working on some details...
Scothew, do you think I can get a sticky in some of the main forums for this?

Paul, I'm with Mav above. We go with the Bad Mustangs Club. Once we get 25 people registered, we get a free tent to sit under, and a place for all the members to park their car. So far we have 11 registered, and its only the beginning of January. Last year we had 15 of us head up, and met up with the rest who had the tent. This year, we are making it a 3 day affair. We even scored hotel rooms at a discounted rate for those who want to stay for the whole weekend (Fri-Sun). The hotel deal is pretty DARN good (its $112 per, instead of almost $140 per night at Hotel Carlisle). If anyone is interested in heading up with us, feel free to let me know. The more Mustangs the greater the time!! Alot of us on BMC also are on TMS, and its all Mustangs, so its good by me.
I wasn't quite ready to go last year. I just bought my car at the end of January and it was in pieces at the time of the show. I went up later with my son to the All Chevy show with his Camaro. My concern is getting in and out of there. I really don't think my car can make it through there. I looked around and it looks VERY rough and bumpy. With the car lowered, the Cervini's side exhaust sits just under 3" off the ground. I have trouble driving over the 2" weather strip getting into my garage. Has anyone found a good way in there to avoid the bumps, ruts and potholes? -Joe
