Called Monday and VOPC said unit was shipped on rail carrier from Toledo, Ohio to Oklahoma City 4/28. Dealer said it would be here this week.

Called VOPC today lady says unit was not shipped it was pulled of shipment along with 500 other units (237 GT coupes) and put on HOLD beacuse of some ISSUES. She had no other details, did not know what the issues were, did not know when the unit will be released or when it will ship.

Anybody hear anything about this. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

HA! Why even hope for the best when we know the worst is going to happen? (In relation to the cars...don't flame me by saying "so many other worse things could happen in life")

I posted this in another thread, but I'm in the same situation as you. My dealer told me the hold was lifted yesterday, and the units on hold began shipping out then, and will be done shipping out by tonite.

Ghost,
No need for the sigh. According to your signature your car has been shipped. You are in the home stretch now.

This is exactly what happened to my car back in September/October. My car was built September 24th and I didn't get it until November 1st because it was on "quality hold."

My father-in-law told me last night that he had a truck that he ordered do this once. Basically (according to him) everything on the car is done except 1 item needs to be installed. So, the car is sitting to the side waiting for that one item.

For him it was the engine.

How many miles were on it when you took delivery ? Did it look like it had been road hard and put up wet ?

By the way your car looks sweet, what tint % did you have put on ?

Perhaps it's a good thing and they are addressing some of the known issues - like the front strut popping, etc.....better to have if right and not have to take it into a dealer service later and risk - sloppy work, scratches, etc!

I just bummed because the dealer called last Friday and said, it would be here this week. It is now looking like another 4-5 weeks.

Customer Service gives mine an ETA of 5/20. The dealer says 5/13. If it is on quality hold, I don't know if these ETAs take that into account or not.

The ETA is given in weekly increments. I think the dealer is giving you best case scenario, and Customer Service worse.
