You need an air filter already??? I would just wait it out a bit if you don't have an immediate need.......just blow the existing one out with some air for the 1st time, until you get a better price on a new one.

I know I was surprized but its in bad shape believe it or not. Of course I have 10,000 miles on it. I guess I will have to wait. Unless if I find a deal on eBay.

Well, $32.99 is the best deal I can find. Not bad at all for a K&n Filter. I might just have to go with it. http://motors.search.ebay.com/2005-Mustang...ntrypageZsearch

I still cant get over the $62.00 from my dealer. The guy did tell me that the reason it was so expensive is because Ford knows that their are no aftermarkets out their yet. He said as soon as they start coming out Ford will decrease the price. I guess they diddnt make enough money off of us when we bought the car in first place. Go figure.

Ed, when you installed K & N Aircharger did you have to do anything to your computer?

For the K&N aircharger you don't need to do anything but put it on. Brother's Performance has it for $199.99 I ordered mine last weekend, should be here Mon. or Tues.

Its in the mail - est delivery is Monday. Should not have to retune with the system. Directions call for using the HC Trap - not sure if I will or won't.
