I figured out why I don't like the foglamps. It's really not their size, it's where they are located in the grille on the GT. I was just watching "Yellow Lines"

They're too close to the middle. They need to be butted up against the edges of the grille, but they're offset an inch or so. THAT's what creeps me out about them.

Man, it's so simple to fix!

Go to it Ford! Thank you!

Yeah. MUCH better. Although it'd be cool to have the grille ends wrap around them or something like that... Anyway, that's what I think.

The 05 doesnt seem as wide as the older models. Like the '69

These also have the chrome surounding the grille.

I like the way it is now. They appeared equidistant from center of bulb to center of bulb to center of pony.

I just realized by looking at that pic of the 69 that the 05 saleen's grille looks similar, but without the fogs and the tribar pony emblem.

I agree... It looks kind of weird all the way out. Like there is all that space in the grill and they are crammed to the far edges.

Can someone do 2 different chops?

Keep the stock fogs where they are & put 2 in the lower grill right under each fog. One version with round lights, one version with rectangular lights.

I'm thinking of replacing the stock fogs with high output driving lights the same size.

I want to put fogs in the lower grill, but not sure what looks best.

Thanks in advance.

Originally, I did not like the fogs, but a 2 dimensional picture does not relate the reality. They look much better in person. They also throw out a lot of light at night.

People are going to start recognizing what is behind them at night, and move over a lane B)

I just found out playing with ours. You can light the fogs without the headlamps! It looks like the headlamps are on inset, sweet.

Maybe smaller foglights would be better?
