I was 50 when I got my 2005 Mustang GT on October 2004. (now 53).
I was told it was the first one on the road in the southeast territory. Indeed, I didn't see another one for several months. It got a LOT of attention.

Went a few years without a PONY but bought an 07 GT at 44. Traded it for my 1st Roush at 45 and traded my first Roush for my 2nd Roush also at 45....46 now and done or will probably be divorced by 47.......

My 2005 GT coupe was my retirement present to myself! I was 63 when it came in and retired the following year. I've owned 3 other (early) Mustangs over the past 20 years. I'm currently rebuilding a beautiful Brittany Blue '67 coupe.
