I know it's early, but I have been out of the "hobby" for quite awhile, and I would be interested in others' opinions. I have read that aftermarket parts should be available as soon as the '05 comes out. I am most interested in a new hood with scoops. Where would I look to find a quality hood? Ford, the major modifiers like Steeda and Shinoda, or the hordes of aftermarket companies? I would be most interested in '05 hoods with Shelby-style scoops ('65 or '68). Would a shaker cost less in the long run, considering less paint work? I wish Ford had just kept all of this to themselves until we could do something about it!

I would do a couple of things. Check out
steeda.com
calmustang.com
or, pick up a copy of "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" the best mustang magazine in my opinion. Anyway, they have a TON of adds for aftermarket mustang parts.

The SEMA show (Specialty Equipment Market Association) takes place this year from Nov 2nd through Nov 5th. All of the top vendors in the business will debut their products for the 05' at that time. After that weekend I am sure you will see a flood of pictures from that show on this site. There will likely be many hoods to choose from at that time. Now hurry up and wait!
