After one year of deciding...

I finally got around to getting some new wheels! I liked the look of my factory bullitts but wanted something a little different. After looking and looking and changing my mind over sizes and rims, I picked some out and went with them. I ordered anthracite bullitts in 18x9 for the fronts, and 18x10 deep dish for the rear. I decided also on Nitto's 555 tires 255/45/18 and 285/40/18 out back. I think they look awesome. Let me know what you think!

Looking very nice !

Good choice on the tires

Now all you need to do is lower it a bit.

Do they sell any 18" deep dish that match the factory polished wheels? does anyone know? I wish they did, then I could keep the factory rims for front and get some 18X10's deep dish in the back.

Thanks for the comments!

I agree sodaman, that would be sweet!

I plan on researching lowering springs this weekend and probably order them by next week! Does anyone have some good suggestions?

I went with the Steeda Sports. Ended up lowering about 1 to 1-1/4".

Here is what mine looks like with the Steedas

Looking good, I have the same tire and size on mine.
I have the Progress lowering springs on mine. One inch lower in the front and an inch and a half in the rear.

Take a look!

I like my H&R Supersports - about 2" all around. They give the car a great stance. Gotta watch out for speed bumps though. Ouch!

Yeah, that looks nice, I am a big fan of the Foose wheels, they look especially good. But a lowering is definately in order.

Hey BlackGT06 - HUGE favor to ask you...

Next time you rotate your tires, can you get me a side shot of a stock 17 on the front with the deep dish 18 on the rear???

I've been wanting to go for that look but have been scared to dump that kind of money into rims/tires w/ out getting an idea of how it'd look.

And before anyone flames me, I'd match the front and rear tires so equal sidewall was showing.

BlackGT06 - If you can do that I'd really appreciate it.

BTW - The car looks sweet. I'm a huge fan of the Bullitts too.

You can't rotate those, directional tire and a staggered setup.

Sorry, wasn't trying to flame. I'm no mechanic either. I just have the same set up.

Thanks for all the positive comments!

-05GT- Like antdog said, I wouldn't be rotating my tires with this set up b/c of the staggered look. The 285 back tire would be too big in the front anyway. But if you want to be able to rotate tires, I would suggest a 18x9 Deep dish rim that they make for the 05+.. my front wheel is 18x9 with a 255 tire which would be nice all around too. I will be changing my center caps soon though probably lowering shortly then I can take some pics. I will take both front and rear for ya!

Nevermind. I'm not wanting to rotate any tires. I'm not wanting to see the right tires on the left, or the front tires on the rear. I was hoping to see a picture of the side profile of a Mustang GT w/ a 17" anthracite bullitt on the front and an 18" anthracite bullitt on the rear. I've been considering putting that setup on my car for a while now, and no, I won't try and rotate my tires that way.

Edit:
For Example - here is a picture of a C5 w/ a 17 x 8.5 front, and 18 x 9.5 rear.

I was wondering what the Mustang would look like w/ a similar setup.
