shopping for a 2 way after-market alarm system.
Any one of you have had one installed? if so what type? any problems with it?
what about the rear trunk pop up?, what about the range you got out of it?
Thank for your recommendation
Nick

I put the 2 way Viper in. Works fine. Haven't tested for maximum range, but it works well at @150 yards. The trunk works the same as stock, except you have to hold the button for 3 secs.

Clifford or Viper is the only way to go with an alarm. They are both made by the same company (Directed). They will run you a good amount, but when it comes to reliability and features, there is none better.

The rs8000

Nuff said!

Check this out it has remote start, rolls the windows up trunk release yada... all those features just come with it but the cool thing is this. If the alarm gets set off it takes a picture of the outside and sends it to your lcd pager! Also you can have a custom mp3 playing in your car alarm instead of the normal beep sounds.

only $200.00!

check it out

I recently had the Viper installed but I have to push the unlock button 3 times to unlock the passenger door. Did you have this same problem or was the installer able to program the remote to open it with one press or at the most 3.
