This really blows You can only hope what goes around comes around when this person has something he cares for and gets damaged by someone else.

Hi Flight96,
Vandalism is really is the lowest form of theft. They can't steal it for themselves, so they figure the next best thing is to keep you from using it too. Sadly, it is a sign of the times. Perhaps worse than "Thou shall not steal", this really is a demonstration of "Covetousness". People who do this sort of thing are going down a path of self-destruction.
I am very sorry this happened to you.
Paint it and forget it, and as you plan, have a very Merry Christmas.
Brian.

Yep jealous pathetic cowards that really should eat a bullet and end their miserable lives, since they obviously are so EXTREMELY unhappy that the only joy they can experience is from someone elses pain.

I'm glad you can do the work yourself though man... that's got to be some relief.

And who knows maybe someone WILL catch this person one day... and perhaps give them the bullet they so desparately need... but then, unfortunately, that person will be sent to jail.

Aaaah justice.

Yeah, sorry to see that bud. I've been pretty lucky so far (knock on wood). I try to park next to other nice cars because I think there's a mutual respect. I can't remember the lady's name that posted earlier this year but she intentionally parked WAY-OUT at a mall, far away from any cars, then some jerk pulled-up next to it and SLAMMED his door into it... not just a door ding but a super deep dent!

Some countries cut-off a hand when people are caught stealing... makes repeat offenders pretty easy to spot! Maybe a scratched and dented face would make 'em think twice!

That really bites the big one. Gosh, I'd hate to catch someone vandalizing my car. I would have a thing or two to say to them. Goes to show you the human race isn't fit to survive on this planet.

Sorry to see and hear about your experience. It is fortunate that you are a painter and will be able to fix the issue without alot of inconvenience. The one time I went to Wal-mart this year to pick up Christmas lights some pos parked their chevy 4x4 so far up on my rear bumper that when I moved my car his suspension unloaded. His plastic license plate surround was broken from it....so in a moment of weakness, I left him a little present on his front fender.

I'm not sure what the is motivation for this kind of behavior, but I don't necessarily believe that it is jealousy. I just think that people who need to constantly be messing in other people's lives really have no life of their own. They are pathetic, hollow human beings (I use the term loosely). It really is prevalent, though. Just think of all the folks on the road who want to teach you how to drive. For example, they don't want to go faster, but they refuse to move over... it's all part of the same mentality. "I have no life of my own, so I think I'll MESS with this guy." Losers :notnice:

Blessing to all,

God's still has a lot of work to do against the evil in men’s / women’s heart. I like to say try and do something nice for someone soon and as often as you can, but wrath to anyone scratching a Mustang, make them long for the comforts of heck.

Ok that might be a little over the top, I wonder WWJD, and WWUD?

Well Merry Christmas to all, at least it is something that you can fix yourself. Still though I will never get people, why all the jealousy. We all work hard for the things we want and it is not fair for some jealous punk to come around and scratch up your ride. I now have to have my driver side-view mirror replaced.

I came out this morning, on christmas of all days. To find a piece of steel wool laying next to my car. Whoever did this, scratched the heck out my driver's sideview mirror :bang: :bang: :bang: . So now I have to have it replaced. At least the retards didn't scratch anything else.

Anyway, you all hang in there and merry christmas.

Sorry to hear about your car, that really sucks! :notnice:
Same thing recently happened to the '02 of a guy in our club, but he regularly takes two parking spaces, for him it was just a matter of time I guess...

Add me too. I hope he gets his. I dont have a mustang yet but I really want one. Well, I just finished cleaning my 04 SUV on Christmas eve. I applied tire shine and did not want to park it in the driveway, so I left it in the street while I finished watching a football game. When I came out I found a key scratch about 12 inches on my door. Right down to the metal. It's leased and I am not a painter. I am going to give the duplicolor touch up pen a shot. They have a nice little kit.

I was so mad that I thought about never getting a mustang. I dont think I could handle a deliberate scratch on that.

Its a shame that some moron had to do that. I put a lot of hard earned money into my vehicles and I am nice to everyone. I would have lost that reputation really quick if I had caught the guy.

what is the matter with people?!

even if its not a 05 stang but a 65....i was at a car show and our club was hosting our annual stampede....i was directing the classics into the parking lot and telling em where to go when i saw these 2 kids rubbing their hands down the side of 65 verts....as a co-owner of one i was pissed!! so i stormed over there and i said dont touch the cars!! and the parents gave me a dirty look so i said this is a car SHOW dont touch the darn cars!!

i dont know if i was out of line but alot of time money and love goes into these cars...it just drives me nuts

Im sorry for the damage, I kinda know how it feels...

My Dad had a pumpkin thrown through his rear glass 2 Halloweens ago and it destroyed the windshield as well. It was a complete mess.

Im lucky that my personal cars over the years havent been touched but my house has been vandalized on several occasions.

The last time it happened though, a group of 10 kids showed up armed with like 100 eggs. The house only took 3 hits before I was out the door and chasing the kids down the street and into their cars. One kid wasnt so lucky and suffered a clothesline type tackle and eventually was man handled by my father until the police arrived to cart him away. He was a very unlucky drunk 17 year old.

After that incident nobody has messed around our property. Mind you I was completely just to run the kid down cause I got hit with one of his eggs right in my face. Self Defense is awesome fun.

I also had the chance to dive inside a moving BMW 3 (Im pretty fast) to beat down the 4 kids inside but I knew better.

Be careful when doing in the enemies of your property, though you may feel like its just to do whatever you want after seeing something of yours hurt, it can come back and bite you in the hiney in the legal sense.

All you have to do is make yourself known... "Dont MESS with Me!"
