Active Anti-Theft

Yes, hold down the unlock button on the keyfob for a couple of seconds and both roll down. There was some mention earlier about this feature being disabled for cars built since January, but it works on mine (built 1/10).

Someone said they left their keys and reached in, to test the active anti-theft the alarm went off, so I'd say its possible.

Yes but the windows have to be down in order to reach into the car. Actually I am not sure what question the original poster is asking. It looks like he is asking if you can arm the alarm with the windows rolled down.

He was asking about rolling the windows down, not the movement sensor.

The windows were down while the alarm was on. This proves it can be done. He didn't ask how.
Questions been answered. If you have nothing to contribute, then please don't.

I don't see anything saying from the remote, he should be more specific in the future.

You yourself are not contributing anything by providing an idiotic answer. Stop being such an hiney, it's obvious he knows the windows can be rolled down. He's asking about either the key or FOB roll down feature!

Maybe you should be less of an A-hole in the future.

Sorry to start a fight. What I meant was, using the remote with Active Anti-Theft can you roll the windows? I have already found out about reaching in with it on. Yesterday I had set the alarm adn a buddy reached in to grab his wallet and away it wailed.

Have you ever heard the saying about assume? Never assume anything. Now let the thread die if you have nothing else to say.
Nice double post. I guess bumping it once was not enough.

So to answer the thread: hold down the unlock on the fob for two seconds to roll them down. If your car is newer than 1/17 build date, go to page 68 in your manual and try the activation process. This may allow you to do it.

I was always taught that the word and the practise of 'assume', made an '*ss' out of 'u' and 'me'.

Altoid's starting to sound more funny than mean.
What's next, Grantsdale making me laugh too?

I don't see what was funny here, what he was referring to was an actual post from yesterday.
