OK, the alarm you can get with the car, it has the ability (I think) to detect inside motion (I guess if someone reaches in) while the alarm is armed. Are the sensors in the light above the rear view mirror? If so, how will this alarm work with the vert, if that light is not located there? where would the sensors go?

I dont know where the sensors are, but im sure that they will put them somewhere they can work. I think the convertible is problably the biggest reason for having the interior motion sensors.

Another question on this alarm for those who have it. I thought I read that if the alarm goes off, it sends a signal to your fob to let you know, like a pager. Is this true? Also, can you remotely open your windows with this alarm?

Thanks all.

Only aftermarket uses the pager. You can open windows with the factory one.

The vert has the same overhead console with the 2 lights and ultrasonic transducers for the alarm system as used in the coupe. An extra switch is added between the lights for the power top.

Ref: Owners manual page 60.
