Thumbs up

Do you mustang owners out there think the alarm with the mustang is worth buying? Or would it be better to get a 3rd party alarm? From the things I've read, it doesn't sound like the alarm is very good. Just curious. I'm going to order my own soon so maybe I'll go with a 3rd party alarm depending on what people think of the factory alarm.

No alarm is any good unless you are always within ear shot or it has a paging system.

No body reacts to a car alarm going off unless they know you. The main reason I got it was for the Global windows, which don't even work. But I'm still glad I have it. When coupled with the message center I will know if someone activated the alarm when I get back to the car. And I can check things over before I leave the scene of the crime.

I am not impressed with the alarm. I wanted one that auto perimiter arms without pushing the button on the key fob. (that is the only way I could get a discount on my car insurance) and this one does not.

I've had some aftermarket alarms that were much better.

Viper Alarm is prolly the best you can get. It has a key phob with a pic of a car and shows you everything thats going on with the car.
