South Florida Stangs is having their 3rd Annual 9/11 Tribute Cruise THIS SATURDAY Sept 8th - all proceeds go to the September 11th Families Foundation

If you are in central to south florida and can make it, PLEASE come out and not only support a great cause and pay tribute to the brave men and women who passed away on that tuesday 6 years ago, but also participate in an amazing cruise of anywhere from 100 to 200 Mustangs down to Islamorada in the Keys.

What is the timing on this? I have to work from 11am to 7pm on saturdays. Although I might be able to give my shift away, I'll have to see if this guy wants it or not.

"This year’s South Florida Stangs 9-11 Tribute Run will take place rain or shine on Saturday September by gathering at Towershops in Davie, FL as our staging area. Roll out will be at 10:00am sharp to kick off our cruise of an expected 200 Mustangs escorted by Metro Dade Fire Units and various local police agencies. From our starting point in Davie, Florida the procession will follow South Florida’s highways until we reach the beautiful Holiday Isle in Islamorada, Florida.
Once at Holiday Isle, South Florida Stangs will host a Mustang only car show and other family oriented activities including a memorial tribute and a raffle (and auction) of the prizes donated by our event's sponsors."

Some folks are staying overnight at a hotel at Holiday Isle but me and the other couple of Stang with me and heading back when we are done (probably around 4 or 5)

If you can make it you will have a blast - nothing like being a part of 100+ Mustangs cruising down the turnpike

Heh, haven't been to Holiday Isle since the last time I went to Bartenders Bash years ago. Hope not much has changed, the Keys are too much fun to let them get all hectic.

The expectation is that we'll have more than 100 ppl spending the night... I suppose you know what that means

The cap for the actual run is set to 200 'Stangs! Prolly will hit it too

Me and the other two Stangs coming with me are planning to roll out of Boynton probably by 7:45 or 8 o'clock.

I'm in way-SouthEast Boynton, near the intercoastal.

I can't say for sure (yet), but if the rest are leaving from 10th Ave North & I-95 (wayne akers),
they'd prolly take 95 to 595.
