Well me and Kev V6 had a blast Sunday - and all for a great cause. The final tally of cars was about 125 Mustangs, collected at three different meet-up points in South Florida starting in West Palm beach as the procession cruised down to Islamorada in the Keys.

A good chunk of money was raised for the Fallen Firefighters Foundation and we saw some GREAT Stangs....

And the highlight - before the final leg to Islamorada, we stopped by Homestead Speedway in Miami and got to do two parade laps around the track!!! It was sweet!!! You see how steep the banking is on TV but it is something else ENTIRELY to actually DRIVE on it!! It was truly an amazing day and I am alreayd looking forward to the second one next year.

Have lots of pics to get up but figured I would throw up a quick one here before my lunch break is over - Dark Knight II on pit row!!

Awsome! Used to drive my '85 5.0 soft top through that area before there was a track when I was stationed at Homestead AFB... Is the Tiki bar still in Holiday Isle?

Cool pics guy's! It's fun running around the track isn't it? The banking here at Texas Motor Speedway will squish you down in your seat when you run around the bottom of the bank.

Dave, Kevin, Dave II, Perry... bad news. I sold my house and am moving to Ohio Oct 12th, so I wont be able to make it to Moroso :cries:
I'll be driving the moving truck up Oct 12, and before that I'm driving the Mustang up to look for a house/job, leaving it there, and flying back so I can drive the truck.
Sorry guys, I'm really disappointed.

thats the place! nope no charge for the track, we did pay 20 donation, but we recieved a shirt a flag for our antennas..
