Mach 1 tribute work in progress.

This is the stripe setup I went with. I had the 69 Mach type narrowed into two stripes. I have had people love it and hate it but it is different.

What happened to the most recent posts? It just seems odd that they are gone again.

I don't have a good picture when the hood was down. I had to keep it up all the time during the Detroit Autorama for judging.

What a cool thread. I love the Boss/Mach 1 look with shaker scoops. This white one is stunning.

Also, here is one of the back side with a 1969 gas cap.

Where did you find this beautiful Grill and rims?? I spent days finding something 1969-like...No Luck!(

Please don't do them! They look too out of place.

Any good custom body shop can do it. It will just be very pricey. You could get the Shelby wide body kit for the rear and then cut an opening for the scoop on the side. That would look sweet.

But the back chrome bumper looks cool...The front one - yeah, guess it's out of place. Imagine it with the little ducktail spoiler with a black decal, mustang chrome sighn, and the retro back spoiler!!
