Get this; I just stopped in at local ford dealer near Milwaukee Wisconsin...

On the showroom floor was a beautiful Redfire GT - Dark Charcoal Leather, IU- Lite. (18R)

The kicker? Their asking $5000 OVER MSRP!

They said they can't get another GT and when people come in to see one all they have had is the brocure.... so if someone wants their show room car it's going to cost you!

I'm glad I ordered my GT 60 miles north in good ole Sheboygan at only $1k over invoice! (PS: I don’t live in Sheboygan now, but used to – so be nice !)

I guess I can understand their position.

They want a GT around to generate traffic and sales on other cars.

Are they willing to deal on orders, or do they mark every Mustang up?

would you be able to order a GT from them anyway,

he said they couldn't get another one. Or did he mean they couldn't get one right away?

In late December they were going to let me order @ MSRP - so for order outs I think they are .... well not unreasonable. But then I found the better deal up north and they wouldn’t match it.

Like Galaxie said - I guess they have to do what they feel they need to and if I was looking to order, having a GT to sit in and touch would be the minimum I would need.

PS: They also have five V6’s outside in the snow with discounts under MSRP.

Ah, mighty good question there Galaxie. That would answer the question of good sense or butthead dealership in an instant
